About Us

Our History

St. Paul Lutheran Church began in April 1913. The church building, featuring radiant stained glass windows, was purchased from a Methodist Congregation in 1929. The church itself was built in 1901.

Today, our church continues to strengthen our families with the knowledge of God’s Word and Will in our Lives.

Everyone is welcome to attend our services, which take place each Sunday at 10:00 am. Every 3rd Sunday in the month is a Communion service.

We commune with an open table. You do not need to be a Lutheran or member of the church in order to receive communion. ALL are welcome.

Our Core Beliefs

Salvation Through God’s Grace

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the son of God, was a gift to the world. ALL people are saved by His grace, and his grace alone. Our own good works are the gift we leave to the world.

Forgiveness Through Faith

Exercising our will to invite Christ into our heart is how we accept God’s grace. In doing so, our sins are forgiven and we attain eternal life. No amount of money or good deeds can earn His favour, it must be faith.

Knowledge Through Scripture

Christ’s message of forgiveness is in the written word, the gospel. His word is meant for all ears to hear. In studying his word, we may teach it to others and spread true knowledge.
